It is true. Tobacco companies don't care about us, they just want our money. They don't care that their product kills millions of people, they just want to get rich off of us. It is time to take action and find a better alternative. It has been said time and time again, by people who are unhappy with the government that we need a revolution. We saw this in the 1960's and we saw this in the Civil War. We have been hearing more and more about how our government is attacking our rights, destroying our freedoms, and imposing insane tax rape of all Americans. Yet, time and time again, after freedom after freedom is taken away, we sit idly by and what do we do? We complain about it.

Do you believe that our founding fathers are like we are today? Do you believe that those patriotic citizens of the 1700's were as willing as we are to sit back and allow a tyrannical government to rape and pillage us? I think not. They understood what it meant to be a slave because they left the very places in Europe that acted as our government acts today. They knew that if they didn't make a stand and fight, they would be held captive by the same tyranny that they were trying to escape from.

I come to you today because I am shamed into writing this. In the past two weeks I have watched the 4th Amendment be trampled by a tyrant named "Justice" David in Indiana. I have watched the White House trample the 1st Amendment refusing the press to report on and attend White House briefings. I have watched gas prices go through the roof, wars being waged on our behalf without our consent. I watched in horror as a Marine was shot dead in his own home by storm trooper police who did not have a warrant or probable cause. I could go on and on about the things that are happening. This is just a small example of the things that have happened in only a two week period.

I see many people talking about how we need a revolution. I see many people agreeing with those who write about needing a revolution. The only thing I do not see is a REVOLUTION. How can it be that so many believe we need a revolution yet none of those people are willing to start a revolution?

This country has a very small minority of people who are willing and able to start a revolution and that is scary. 98% of the American population doesn't even seem to care what is going on and they just go about their daily lives without a worry in the world. They have been brain washed by television shows and news as to how everything being done in this country is for the good of the people and sadly, they believe it. Do you not care that your rights no longer exist or that you have lost so much freedom? Is it truly not a big deal to you that you no longer have the same freedoms and rights as your parents or grandparents once had? Do you have children and if so, does it not worry you that they will be in even more trouble than we are now?

Many people look at writings like mine as being negative or being conspiracy based. Often times people will say that I am just a doom and gloom writer trying to scare people. The people who say these types of things are the same people who don't read or educate themselves. they are more worried about the shoe sale at the local mall than they are about their own freedom. This as I said is about 98% of the population. As long as they are comfortable now, who cares about later.

For the 2% of people who do care and who are reading these words today, I ask you to stand with me and begin the revolution today. Gather up your people and make it known that you are ready to defend our way of life. Let it be known where you will gather so more of us can come. Every state in this union must begin now and make it known to others that we are gathering. Do not be afraid of what others will think of you or what the government tyrants will do. Gather immediately and spread the word. The revolution has begun today and this revolution will continue until we gain back our freedoms.

Use every available source to convey your intentions to all people in your areas. Use internet, flyers, phone calls etc. Use social networks to allow others to know when and where you will be forming up. Do it today, get prepared today, and begin today. There is no more time to sit back and complain about it.

Revolution is now and today it has begun.

Welcome to "Awake America". It is my hope that this blog will help some of us and awaken those who may not understand that our country and the freedoms we hold dear are slowly but surely vanishing. Many people go through their daily lives knowing that we are being taken advantage of yet they are either afraid to stand up and do the right thing, or they are convinced that there is nothing that they can do.

Since this is the first posting in this blog, I would like to say a few words about me. Not because I am interested in boasting about my life, or interested in telling people about me, but because in future posts I will point people to this post when they tell me I have an agenda.

First off, I am neither a Republican or Democrat and in fact I believe that both parties are exactly the same. I am not a part of the Tea Party and I am not an Independent. I am none of these things and I will even go as far as to say that I am not even "anti-government". I am just one man who sees the facts of this country. The fact is all political parties no matter who they are, are corrupt. Even those who seem to be interested in doing the right thing become corrupt over time. The reason for this (in my humble opinion) is because they either have their own agenda, or they find out that there are higher powers controlling what a political player can do.

What do I mean about higher powers? No, I am not talking about a God or spiritual power, I am talking about corrupt bankers and powerful people who run the show from behind closed doors. The political powers that you and I see every day are just a front for globalist bankers. The bankers pull the strings of the political players just as a puppeteer pulls the strings to make his puppet do as he wishes. The fact is that this country is run by banks and the political player's hands are tied.

So if I am not a part of any political party and I am not pro nor anti government, where exactly does that leave me? What exactly do I believe in if I do not believe in any of those things? Well, as I said, I am just one man who can see that nothing that is in place now is working. I do not have all of the answers, I have no master plan as to how to make things better, and I am certainly not an expert on anything. I am however smart enough to recognize that every single person we have elected to office has done nothing for us and in most cases, they have destroyed pieces and parts of our freedom over the years. We have voted for people who we truly believed wanted to make things better only to be slapped in the face time and time again. We have watched these same people tell us that they will ease taxes and make our lives better, only to raise taxes and make our lives worse by passing new legislation to take more of our rights away.

We watch each day as more and more of our freedoms are taken from us under false reasoning such as it is for our safety, or it is just the right thing for the country. While many of us are angry about these things, most Americans don't even notice. They are too busy buying iphones and watching mind bending shows on television to care that their freedoms are being stripped and their government, which we own, is turning the tables and they now believe they own us. We are becoming slaves to the state and the government knows that they will win because most Americans are too lazy to stand up and say no more.

Some of you may feel that I am saying that we need to rebel against this tyrannical government and protest like we have never protested before. You would be 100% correct. I will not sit here and tell you that we can make things better by voting new leaders in. Voting is a complete waste of time because every single person running for office is there for their own political agenda and they will lie to your face, as every single one has done for centuries to get voted in.

It is indeed time for the American people to wake up and take back what was once a good nation. We must strip the foolish government of their ideas that they own us. We must bring back a time from long ago when the government was run by the people, for the people. There is no more time for foolish talk of new elections and how this person or that person will do a better job. It is time to make a final stand to prove to the government that we as a people can come together and purge them from their criminal activity. We as a people do have the power to defeat a tyrannical government and we will. 

I do not spout off only because I am angry. I am an Army veteran of 7 years, I am involved in law enforcement, and I am proud to be an American. I have seen things that make my head spin, I have been to war and have seen first hand what war can do to a person. Most of the government sends people to war without any clue as to what our young men and women face. They don't care that our service people come back in body bags or with missing limbs. We are just pawns that the government uses. It is the same with all citizens of this country. We are just pawns in a much larger game and as long as we pay our taxes and obey the government, they will allow you to eat and live. The moment you don't do these things, you will see just how free you really are.

It is time to wake up my friends. I hope you will stop by to read my thoughts from time to time. And by all means, speak your mind here as well.
